Three Modern Bungalows
Three modern bungalows sit behind a historic 1913 farmhouse in the San Jose Rose Garden. Although they share proximity with the original home, these dwellings have their own community and ‘talk to each other’. Each unit has a living area with a vaulted ceiling, clerestory windows, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A brother and sister rent the rear units and a saddle craftsman rents the front unit. This was the first SB9 project in San Jose (enables placing 4 dwellings on a single-family residential lot)
