Rose Garden Farm House

Restoration of a Historic Farmhouse in San Jose’s Rose Garden Neighborhood. We wanted to retain the original feel of the 1913 home while modernizing the kitchen, living, bathrooms and laundry. Many original windows, most flooring and the stair were preserved. Non original additions were removed and a pantry and driveway / sideyard entries were added. Although the house is in the original location, it had to be lifted / moved to the rear of the property to enable installing a new earthquake safe foundation. This was the first SB9 project in San Jose (enables placing 4 dwellings on a single-family residential lot)
